***************************************************************************

Our spiritual journey began as the Shaman entered the room and held before us a golden disc, freshly spewn from the CD burner at Fneeebort Studios East.

But we did not listen.

We concentrated on its form, which expanded to fill the void above the head of the spirit guide of our collective soul. And to each of us, it would be our personal halo.

We stared at its surface, and as the light refracted through our eyes forming a musical spectrum on the inside back wall of our skulls, we felt a half hour of music expand to fill an hour of time. And in that instant, each of us lived out the number of our days backwards and forwards, and passed them around the circle, that we could each experience the total sum of the group’s experiences.

We played it in my CD player with the speakers off, watched the dancing lights of my audio spectrum analyzer expand into successive iterations of the great universal fractal, and became one with the universe and all of the consciousness it harnesses.

Fortunately, the Shaman had been filming. We developed the film, cut out each frame, and lined them up to form a solid block. And in that block, a form took shape. And that form expanded into the mountain which would be the last phase of our journey. And as we climbed, each of us was born and died a thousand times. We made love. We gave birth. We performed human sacrifices. We were all phases of matter at once. We experienced the full range of animal instinct, human emotion and spiritual perfection.

And then we listened.
